Originally from New Jersey, Jeff MacIntosh has lived in Winston-Salem for over 25 years. Since graduating from Wake Forest University in 1980, Jeff has run a number of successful businesses. He started working in real estate in the 1980s. Since then he has been deeply involved in restoration and neighborhood advocacy. He and his wife Susan first became urban pioneers in the Holly Avenue Neighborhood. Over the years they have restored fourteen properties in the downtown area, and garnered numerous awards for their work. Jeff's encyclopedic knowledge of Winston-Salem neighborhoods is an enormous benefit to his clients. His passionate commitment to this city is evident to everyone who works with him. Says Jeff "Winston-Salem is the perfect size. It's a big town and small city all in one. I've known the last three mayors on a first name basis yet there is a sophistication about the city that is hard to find in a place this size".
