Real estate has always been in Carl's blood.  As a youngster growing up in Winston-Salem, he regularly rode his bicycle to homes under construction and to open houses to see and learn their various floor plans and features.  He even played meaningful roles in selecting his family's homes from an early age.  Although Carl has maintained a passion for real estate his entire life, he has succeeded in other interests as well.  After graduating from Reynolds High School, Carl received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and in Art History from Wake Forest University.  Subsequently, he graduated from the University of Maryland with a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work.  This led to professional roles with the United States Department of Defense in Washington, DC as a subject matter expert on family violence, and as a consultant focusing on communication and education strategies for a variety of public health concerns.  In whatever spare time could be found, Carl worked with friends to identify, purchase, fix, update, and re-sell houses in and around DC.  Upon returning to North Carolina to live, he has worked in real estate full time, and has continued his ardent support of Wake Forest University athletics, the local arts scene, and community volunteer or charity opportunities.  Carl brings training, experience, and energy to his work with each and every client!
