While Helen has deep roots in North Carolina, she grew up in Bennettsville, South Carolina. She is very actively involved in the community which include: The Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Samaritan Ministries, Ronald McDonald House, Delta Arts Center, among many others. Her passion for volunteerism has fueled her to give of herself unselfishly for the last 26 years before beginning her career in real estate. Although not a stranger to North Carolina, residing everywhere from Greenville to Kansas, Helen relocated to Winston-Salem from Topeka, Kansas in May 2001. While in Topeka Helen was employed as State Coordinator for the Children's Health Insurance Program and Regional Foster Care Recruiter. She also was actively involved in her community by serving on many boards and committees. While in Greenville, she was a manager of Donor Resources for the American Red Cross, and Helen fulfilled the dream of a deceased friend by organizing the first "Philadelphia House" --A Home of Brotherly Love for HIV and AIDS patients. Helen chose to join Leonard Ryden Burr because of our reputation and philanthropic endeavors in which she cares so deeply. She is energized in the commitment to serve you, and her ability to work easily with a diverse clientele base make her an agent you would enjoy working with. |
