Mark never misses a detail. Whether it is finding a room to showcase a prized family heirloom or helping you choose the best color for your new front door, Mark specializes in all the things that make a house your home. And as an award-winning communicator turned realtor, you can count on him to hear your story and understand your needs, whether you are dreaming of buying or selling a home.
Mark has lived in Winston-Salem for more than 30 years, first in an Ardmore cottage on Belleview Street and now in Sherwood Forest, where he is committed to his second renovation, a 1955 ranch purchased from the original owners. He’s on his 34th gallon of Benjamin Moore, still coaxing a half acre lot back to Sherwood Forest standards, trying to decide if the original coral bathroom tile will stay for another 50 years and enjoying a wonderfully eclectic mix of neighbors who easily became friends.
Mark originally moved to the area to work with Hanes Brands and spent nearly 20 years with Thomasville, Drexel Heritage and Henredon Furniture. And, his extensive experience working with luxury home-products and nationally known brands parlays into distinctive services customized with insights to help his clients make better informed real estate decisions.
Want to hear a good story? Ask Mark about the time he shared a pizza with the classic Hollywood icon Lauren Bacall and her dog Sophie at the Grandover Resort, the time he hosted the most exclusive interior design editors in NYC for a private event in a warehouse loft he styled for the affair or the year he decorated 23 trees between Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Mark considers himself a serial re-painter, re-decorator and re-upholsterer. He also enjoys passions for cooking, baking and gardening. He is native of Missouri and a graduate of the University of Missouri. While he has worked with celebrities and royalty, Mark reserves his greatest enthusiasm for making his clients feel like VIPs.
